If you read this space (and if you’re here, it means that, at least you do now), you know that I tore my meniscus and had surgery on it back in January.
You also know that I’ve been working with Dr. Lev Kalika at New York Dynamic Neuromuscular Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy Clinic (https://nydnrehab.com/treatment-methods/runningdiagnosis/) to guide my rehab.
One of the aspects of his clinic that I love is that Dr. Kalika does a gait analysis. That is, he studies every aspect of my body and how it performs and reacts while running.
It’s a pretty technical process that includes getting all geared up with markers on different parts of my body in order to film it and show the connection between say, my hips, knees and ankles. Or my shoulders and hips.
I filmed the process and Dr. Kalika taking me through his analysis.
Check it out.
