I’ve had a list of T-shirt ideas in Apple Notes for like six years now.
And every once in a while I look at it and think, I should probably do something with that. I mean, how hard is it to make and sell T-shirts.
Well, the answer is, it’s not.
So, when I was watching the Presidential debate last week and Biden came out with a great zinger, I immediately went on Threadless.com and made a shirt with his quote on it. And by the end of the night, I had sold 30.
I mean, that was pretty freaking easy.
So I got to thinking, it’s time for me to open my shop and start selling the fantastic short ideas I’ve been holding on to for years.
The one I’m most proud of plays on a popular trend in current t-shirts and has to do with a specific hometown race that I’m not allowed to put on the shirt (because I don’t own the rights to the name). So, I’m calling this collection #RunNYC (I think you can figure out which race I’m talking about).
Here’s the shirt:
There a few more with even more being added weekly. Some of my favorites include:
All of my designs come in letters on dark colors or dark letters on light backgrounds in both male and female cuts. All the variants come in a variety of shirt types from regular shirts, to extra soft to triblend, to performance. And in both long sleeve and short sleeve.
So have at it! And let me know what you think!
