Last week I went back out to Kanab Utah to take part in the annual gathering of all staff members of Best Friends Animal Society.
This is my second year participating in Best Friends’ All Staff Week where all remote and local employees get together for a week of meetings and more importantly, bonding.
One of my favorite events during All Staff (as we call it) is the 5K fun run through Angel Canyon. The views are not typical for a NY runner. Nor is the altitude, which isn’t my favorite part of the run.
I had a much harder time adjusting to the altitude this year and only wound up doing a few runs throughout the entire week, but I still participated in the 5K.
And, as usual, I brought my GoPro with me to document the run. Here’s what a beautiful run through the red rock canyons of southern Utah looks like through the eyes of a Central Park runner.
