I’ve been trying to not do too many gear reviews on my website as opposed to posting them to my YouTube channel. I didn’t want you to think that I’m just becoming a commercial for companies.
In fact, you’ll note that the reviews I do are mostly positive.
Why’s that?
Because I don’t see the need to bash any products. If it’s something that I don’t like, want, have a desire to use, find a critical flaw with, or generally just have a bad experience with, I won’t post anything about it. If you ask me via private or direct message, I will tell you my opinion if I think you’d be wasting your money. But I don’t see a reason to do that en mass.
That’s not to say I don’t find flaws with the products I review. I do, and I tell you what I don’t like about them. But if the negative outweighs the positive, I’ll politely let the brand know the issues I’ve had and why I won’t be writing or doing a video about the product.
