The following was originally the end of my Race Day Strategy video.
After getting a call from The New Yorker asking for permission to use some of my b-roll for a marathon video they are putting together (!!!!!!), I took another look at that 90 seconds.
And I thought, you know, this really works as a stand alone video.
So, I did some quick editing and VOILA!
In five days, 50,000 runners will experience this.
I. Can’t. Wait!
Good morning. Have a question for you. Which hotel is best to stay while in NYC for the marathon? I have stayed at Hilton but it is such a LONG walk back, wondering if there is somewhere closer to the finish?
I would imagine that most of them are sold out at this point. But you could try anything on the Upper West Side (NYLO and The Empire are two that come to mind). Hope that helps!
Great Video. Question- are the subways free for runners on race day? Or do I need to carry a metro card with me?
You need a MetroCard
